About To Flower Using Less Water

Discussion in 'Sick Plants and Problems' started by watergate, Oct 4, 2010.

  1. I have a hydroponic system with two plants. For a long while, they were using a lot of water each down. I switched the lights recently to 12/12. Since then the plant is using a lot less water.

The two plants use the same reservoir for their roots and water.

Even though the plants seems to be growing upwards, in general it seems to be using a lot less water / nutrients.

From the vegitation stage to the full fledge flower stage, does the plant every use less water?

And I have seen the pistols on both plants, im sure they are both female. But how do you know when you are out of the pre flower and into the flower?

Also there could be a chance that the root systems from both plants are strangling each other. If there were the case, how could I identify that and is it possible to trim the roots?

  2. Updated with pics. General thoughts on pruning or anything is appreciated.
