My roommate and i are about to start our first grow project. we're thinking 15-20 plants with 3 different rooms, one for clones, one for flowing, and one for the mother plant. I'd like to start from seeds, just for the experience, but will probably do it from a healthy white widow clone from an outside source. We'll more or less follow Todd McCormic's guide as i think his guide would be a great start. Due to conditions, we'll probably use a flouro setup with a HPS lamp in the flowering room. Any words of wisdom? Do's / Dont's? Issues with Todds method? Thanks! Todd Book in .pdf: www.unsaccodicanapa.com/others/growing.pdf
You sure you want to start on such a large scale? If so the best advice I can give you is for neither of you to tell a soul. Zero people can know, or else it's only a matter of time.
Oh ok. So you aren't talking 15-20 4 footers, you're talking more like a SoG? A good tip is to use 6500k fluoros on your vegging plants. It will keep them from stretching and you'll get nice dense growth, and apparently it increases chances of females. Other common sense rules are don't feed at least till the 4th set of leaves, and use good soil without any chemical fertilizers or time release garbage. And don't forget that the roots need oxygen too, so let the soil get good and dry before watering again.
