So earlier on today I was just walking home and I saw some younger guys I know. They are the type of guys who seem to have some kind of addiction to weed, and face an everyday battle just to get high. They will often betray their friends, family, and occasionally complete strangers just to get a smoke... ...and after this treacherous battle, they get a bag... and waste it all in some shitty amateur joint that burns to roach within 30 seconds I'm pretty sure we all know someone like this, someone who totally misuses the herb. So anyway, I asked them what they were doing. They informed me that they were looking to trade an iPod Touch for some weed. The only dealer who was willing to make the exchange only offered £10 ($15) worth, which could be about a 1 - 1.5 grams from the specific dealer in question. I know we've all been there, with absolutely no weed and absolutely no money, but come on, trading possessions for minute amounts is just very bad. Anybody else got any shameful stories like this to share?
there were so many kids in my old town that would do this! they would go around car shopping for gps's and stuff, and they would pawn all that and their xboxes and anything else they could pawn, and just go buy weed. no jobs, livin at home, pawning a ton of shit. fuckin low-lifes man. so glad i dont see those people anymore..
Yup, Ive sold my studio equipment to get high and have sold games and cds and pawned anything I can find. I just weighed my options and decided that getting high was worth losing those material possessions... i love the herb and life without it is not an option, and im not ashamed to admit that. I would never betray anyone for it or do any harm to get it....dont get me wrong that is UN-excusable. but I will sell my shit or look for ways to raise money to get it at all costs if im dry. This hasnt happend in 3 years or so by the way but when I was out of a job and times were hard I had to do what I had to do.

Yeah man, obviously if you love the herb then nobody is to judge. However, these guys just smoke it to get completely fucked up, every day... and that really ain't how it should be done. They don't appreciate the finer aspects that ganja withholds. Peace
i've sold stuff for the sole purpose of smoking weed before. but i buy and sell shit all the time on cl, so i would have sold it anyways usually. a few things i've regretted selling
Iam guilty of this too, I just love weed, or else I see no point of doing anything ever. I too have sold variouse things over the years, but nothing incredibly drastic, but hey the ganja made me happier that those meaninless possetions I sold so fuck it and fuck you. I have also lied to people/folks why I needed to borrow cash to buy herb, but again never drastic lies like family/ friend sickness or accident, ect. , and I would always pay them back when promised and even gav em a bit extra or buy em a meal /smoke out as a thanx, so everyone was happy! The herb made me realize material possessions are meaningless. Now Ive never really had to sell my shit to get herb as I grow but In my youth Ive sold shit like when i was 13 I sold a Ds to get some herb or when I was 16 sold my Bass guitar and various CD's and shit to get the sweetleaf..
Some idiot kid that I used to hang out with sold me an 8 gig Ipod nano for $20 dollars so he could buy weed.
