A Tale of Two Strains (indoor, outdoor)

  1. A long time ago and in a legal place, I grew two strains- one being a sativa-dominant hybrid; the other, an indica.

Indoors, the indica was phenomenal. Very potent. The Sativa, eh. Just so-so. About 1/3 the potency of the indica. Maybe a little less. But the weather was setting to change outdoors, so I took clone off each plant and grew them outside...

The indica was very tasty, but wasn't quite as potent outside- maybe 3/4 the strength. Not as strong, but certainly no slouch. The sativa on the other hand... HOLY SHIT... It tripled in strength! It was now clearly the stronger of the two strains. And goddamn was this sativa deceptive- the bud structure wasn't the tightest and it wasn't particularly frosty. It smelled ok and tasted great, but it didn't have great "bag appeal". Then you hit it and realize you've severely underestimated it's strength- this is contender, not the mids it pretended to be.
