Copy the following questions, and answer them one at a time starting with the first one, and ending with the last one.

    -answer the questions in order,
-don't go back and change your answer after reading the next question.
-do not read other people's responses, until you have made your own response.
-try to describe each object as fully as possible, consider all details vital.

After a few people have replied, I will post further instructions.

  3. My reply:

    Q1:

As I'm walking along in the sand I see a glint, or reflection of light off of some metallic object underneath a rock. As I reach down and pull the sand away I see a cube. It's smaller in size, and fits in the palm of my hand. It has gold designs on it, and looks very mysterious. I think it opens if I twist it some how, but it's very complicated. I can't see inside of it, and I don't know how to open it; I don't know what in it.

    Q2:

The flowers are on cactuses all around the cube. They're in the shadow of a cliff over top. It actually was kind of tough getting to the cube because of where they were.

    Q3:

The ladder was also hidden in the sand, I saw just a piece of it and pulled it out of the sand. and then set it against the cliff face. It has interesting egyptian markings on it, and its very sturdy, and pretty long. I think the ladder is pretty easy to climb at the start, but gets very tiring after a while.

    Q4:

The horse is black and white, and it's a wild horse. It has beautiful eyes; and I wonder if it's a spiritual ally of mine, because it's kind of mystical.

    Q5:

When the storm comes, I don't know where my cube is anymore. I lost it. I put it down when I was picking up the ladder, and it must have got covered in the sand. I'm sure i could find it again if I looked. But it almost seems dangerous to me, and I think I'd only go looking for it if i needed it.

The horse is gone as well, it left well before the storm came; i think wild animals have a sense for when a storms coming. It's safe, and i'm sure it'll come back when it thinks the time is right. I wonder if it's trying to teach me something.

The ladder is unmoveable against the cliff face, and is as sturdy as ever. However, I find that there's a cave on the cliff and hide inside in order to escape the sand storm.

the flowers, and cactuses are just fine

    Interesting:)

    Question #1: The cube

You are walking along in the sand and you spot a cube, what does it look like?

As you didn't stipulate a material I chose grey metal.

    How big is it?
    It's about 4x4.

    Where is it?
In the sand beside me, as you said to imagine.

Is there anything on the outside of it?
    No

Is there anything on the inside of it?
    No.

Is there anything else special about it?

No. You asked me to imagine a cube, not a special cube. Anything I say about it I will have decided upon, it won't just appear in the image spontaneously as I am in control of the image that appears to my mind. Nothing complex would be seen unless I was told to think of something complex, or simply decided to create something complex on a whim; do you get my meaning? You are guiding our responses.

    Question #2: The flowers

Around where you found the cube there are flowers. What kind of flowers are they?

I'll just imagine that they're dog daisies as I'm fond of them.

    How many are there?
As many as I want there to be. Your question said there were flowers, so I imagined two or three until instructed otherwise.

Where are they in relation to the cube?
Around the cube, as you said for me to imagine them.

Do you think that there's any reason why the flowers are where they are?

No. You told me to imagine them. Without that I wouldn't have thought to put them there, as flowers don't do well in sand.

Is there anything else you can tell about them?
    No.

    Question #3: The Ladder

Now you notice a ladder. Where is the ladder? How did you find it?

You told me to imagine it was there. I have no location for it as you haven't told me to imagine one.

Is it tall? Short? Rickety or solid?
It's a wooden ladder of unknown size.

Is it an easy ladder to climb?

I should imagine so. It's the same as any other ladder of its kind.

    Question #4: The Horse

Looking away from the ladder you see a horse? Where is it?
You haven't told me a location, so I just imagined a horse in a field with no relationship ot the sand.

What kind of horse is it?
Just a horse. It has no specific colour or breed as you didn't ask me to imagine one. I can make it any colour or breed I want. But just imagining 'horse' doesn't bring up any specific image, but a number of different ones that I'm free to choose from.

    What does it look like?

    See above:)

Is it big, small, strong, slender, masculine, feminine, wild, domestic, obedient, or is there anything else you can tell about the horse?

    See above.
    Question # 4:

A storm comes. Where is your cube? Has it effected by the storm in some way?

My cube is where it was before. it is unaffected.

Where is your horse? If it is gone, why or when did it go? If it is there, what is it doing.

The horse is still where I imagined it.

What about your ladder is it standing? if so is it shaking? If not, why did it fall or how.

It was never standing, just lying on the beach. It is unaffected.

What about the flowers? How are they effected by the storm?

    No effect.

    And what about you?

    No effect.

    It was always laying down...

It is a peaceful looking horse.

Is it big, small, strong, slender, masculine, feminine, wild, domestic, obedient, or is there anything else you can tell about the horse?
It is domestic but it could survive without it's owner.

My horse is under some trees, taking shelter from the rain. When it first saw the storm clouds it jumped the fence and walked towards the trees.

What about your ladder is it standing? if so is it shaking? If not, why did it fall or how.
It is still standing but looks weaker.

  15. Question #1: The cube

You are walking along in the sand and you spot a cube, what does it look like?
it looks like a rubix cube. only all the colors are black and white. and it's solved, so all the little squares match up on all the sides.

    How big is it?
it's about as big as a normal-sized rubix cube.

    Where is it?
it's buried in the ground like halfway.

Is there anything on the outside of it?
nope. just black and white squares.

Is there anything on the inside of it?
maybe. i wouldn't know unless i broke it open.

Is there anything else special about it?
well, the sand got in all the cube's nooks and crannys, so it doesn't move like a rubix cube should. it's stuck. but it's solved anyways, so whatever.

    big purple iris.

Is it big, small, strong, slender, masculine, feminine, wild, domestic, obedient, or is there anything else you can tell about the horse?
strong, masculine, but really gentle looking. horses usually scare the shit out of me, but this one; not so much.

    Question # 4:

A storm comes. Where is your cube? Has it been effected by the storm in some way?
it becomes unburied from the ground. but it doesn't move. the storm blew away all the sand so it isn't stuck anymore.

Where is your horse? If it is gone, why or when did it go? If it is there, what is it doing?
it freaks out and runs off.

What about your ladder is it standing? if so is it shaking? If not, why did it fall or how.
it was sorta already on the ground...and it still is.

What about the flowers? How are they effected by the storm?
the iris is still squashed under the ladder. i guess that's a good thing, because it would have blown away.

    And what about you?
i kinda wish that horse was there, just as some sort means of protection. but it's just me and the storm, so i hang out. i like storms.
