A song I wrote about my best friends mother dying

And we ride into the night without fear
In and out of sight we find the ights would disappear
In the corner of my eye I spy a figure drawing near
In the remnants of my mind
Unkind divine design confines my lines defined in time
And who will save us now? (save us now)
Who will scoop our souls off the ground? (off the ground)
Who will wade into the waters in which we drowned? (which we drowned)
And who forbade us to reach the clouds? (reach the clouds)
Who silenced our dying shouts? (dying shouts)

3. Thanks Tadealis! Here's another one for ya if you're interested, I wrote this today. It's called Ascension.

Ascension is calling my name
The angel wings of change
The sweet summer rain
Ah, here it comes again
It never ends, it never ends
It shines on through the sun's omniscient lens
It's ever present through the bends
So we build a vessel to take us to the sky
We spread our gold-trimmed wings and learn to fly
We make our journey through the Great Divide
Not knowing what lies on the other side

Nice, I could listen to this multiple times. R u in a band or do u have aspirations to go pro?

5. Yeah I'm in a psychedelic rock band called The Wavelengths. This is kinda just for fun, but if I can get together enough solo songs I might make an album just to see how people take to it. Of course I'd like to go pro, but I just focus on getting better I feel like I have a long way to go before any of my ideas can be taken to a level that I'd consider professional.
