So about a month ago i picked up a QG 28" In. bong with single perc . It has worked perfect untill 2 weeks ago it split directly in half along the base of the perc.In a crazed attempt to fix it after such short time with it, I decided to use mighty putty (pics at the bottom). After about an hour we got the end results, an air/water tight seal that hits just fine (but not so visually appealing). As of then it seemed fine except, I noticed water coming through the seal a tiny bit, and it is a little bit crooked. So, its not going to last that much longer. I was wondering if anyone can give me suggestions what to do or if someone can refer me to a glassblower i could send it to, or a glassblower in Southern Cali that could help me out.It was not a complicated break and broke clean into two pieces. Hm, i will try this, do you think ill get better results than the mighty putty and will be less noticeable?
Save the money you would spend taking it towards a glassblower, and buy a 200$ US Tubes 5mm straight...that one wont crack in half.
Yeh... a glassblower is not going to be able to fix that... Listen to the guy above me but maybe try to haggle lower on the price. I got my 5mm US tubes beaker for about 100 dollars and its built like a tank.
