Alright so monday i just got my wisdom teeth pulled, and tomorrow i wanna go to a party, and i have to take one antibiotic (sp) pill and a swelling pill every 6 hours or so. So my question is if i take my pills at 6 then start drinking around 7-8 and take them again at midnight (reminder ill be drinking through the night) now i know it says not to drink alcohol on the bottle but is it really bad?
i wouldnt risk mixing the two if it says on the bottle not to. you always hear those crazy stories of people dying from that shit. thats just me though

hit up your dentist and tell him the truth he cannot say anything to anyone due to doctor patient confidentialty. just say hey im going to be having a few drinks tomorow night, is it ok for me to do so, if not what are the risks or what could happen. i straight up said the same thing to my doctor about when i got my tonsils removed, he said he strongly did not recommend it, but said that there is a low risk of infection or anyhting happening, so i was drinking that night at my friends house.
What exactly are the pills you're taking? The antibiotic I'm not so concerned about, but the one to reduce swelling? As a general warning I'd say don't drink and digest pills, especially large quantities of them (not that you were planning on abusing anything, hah). I'm just speaking from personal experience here. One night I drank far too many Pabst Blue Ribbons and popped a handful of Xanax and had the absolute worst time of my life. I've never had spins like that before, not only was the world going around and around, it was rocking forwards and backwards, as well. Way too much for me, ended up throwing up everywhere and waking up the next day confused as hell.
well the swelling pills are say on the back MehtylPREDNIS Solone tablets 4mg and the Antibiotics are Clindamycin 150mg but actually now that i just looked, the painkillers just say that when taken with alcohol may cause drowsiness, and the alcohol can intesify the effect, but ive just been stashing the painkillers cause it doesnt hurt so i wouldnt be taking them really, and none of the other bottles say anything about alcohol really, so it should be good wouldnt it?
please tell me you got some painkillers as well I got prescribed HELLA percocets WITH refills when I got all FOUR bloody wisdom teeth removed--they where impacted, i.e. litatarly growing sideways into my molars :O lol! But ya--I was happy with my percs for quite sometime lol! pz
