I was just wondering if using 2-3 400 Hps lights (in a downstairs room) would create a big heat problem, would flir cameras (Infrared) be able to pick it up easy? im in the UK and im not entirely sure if it would be safe Just alittle paranoid would appreciate some good advice. Thanks guys.
not if u have adequate airflow exchanging the air out. if ur downstairs room means its in a basement, then no i wouldnt think infrared would be an issue. but it will be if u vent vent ur hot air outside through an exposed vent.
I agree, it should be easy to keep those lights cool with adequate air flow. FLIR can not see into a house. They look for odd heat signatures being vented outside. You can always hook up your exhaust to your dryer vent and it won't look suspicious. It'll just look like you're running the dryer.
Thanks for the tips and No its just a spare room downstairs thats not used so was thinking of getting 7-10 babies in there, i dont have a dryer and i was thinking of trying to vent the heat from that room to the rest of the house or maybe just leaving the door open when the lights are on to spread the heat around since its always cold here .
be sure to figure out how you are going to contain the smell. It's gonna give off a hell of a stink when they flower.
True but i was told these ones are Non smellies, probably means they dont smell but im thinking otherwise.
