So, I am in the process of doing research before I start my first grow.. I was wondering though.. Everyone growing I see just has lights above, but... My questions is.. Would there be any benefit to adding a small light on the sides as well? Or, is a top light on the top all you really want? I know it's not too smart of a question, but.. Just trying to cover my bases, and see if anyone else would know.
Sure there's benefit, you get more penetration to the lower bud/grow sites. You also spend more $$ Google "Vertical grow" or "stadium grow" etc.. there's a lot of diff ways to set up lights. it's like politics, everyone has an opinion.
