when watering, is Enough considered when there is run off? or do u keep watering until there is a certain amount of run off? i have a small pot that im growing in and i water with 1 bottle per watering . how much tsp or tbsp should i put molasses in a water bottle for watering? 16 fl ounces sized . the original size.
im pretty sure as long as you have proper drainage you cant over water just dont water again for a few days, or when the top layer gets dry
i always just water until it start to come out the bottom of the pot; and then wait until it is "light" or stick your finger in to the 2nd knuckle, if it is moist at all dont water.Good luck
More specifically to your question, you do want "good" runoff. Don't stop when you see the first droplets coming out the bottom, keep watering until you get back out 10%-30% of the water you put in. Also, make sure that the runoff is water that has soaked through the soil -- sometimes when the soil dries out it can pull away from the edge of the pot and then when you water it runs right down the side between the pot and the soil and right out the bottom, that's not "runoff". Water slowly to ensure you are saturating the soil.
ive been wondering about watering too. In general how much water should be given to a plant that is in a 3 gallon pot? Just want to get an idea of how much water ill be needing when i have 3 plants going. thanks
Only you would known that one bud. do what toasty said and thats how much water you will need. And it may vary form plant to plant depending on roots, soil, temps, strain, how fast its growing all depends and it will change some through out the plants life. Good luck
