A Question Of Etiquette (First Post)

    First time poster here, long time reader.
     
    I have a question of etiquette. My roommate had a friend (middle man) who knows a hookup.Well the middle man has been having issues with his lady and cannot drive due to a suspended license. So now, we've got nothing and my roommate thinks it would be rude to ask the middle man to introduce us to the dealer. Is it rude? Am I wrong to want to ask? I'm still a noob to it all, and don't live anywhere near a state where it's legal.

    The common rule is you dont meet new people on a deal. Go to visit and party with the middle man and the dealer and meet the guy on some other terms than a two bit dope deal.

    I don't think it's necessarily rude to just ask, but at the end of the day, it's not your friend. If your roommate isn't comfortable asking, then just let it go and work on finding another dealer yourself.

    if i read this correctly, the middle man can't deliver? if he wasnt a massive asshole, he wouldnt take offense.

    Thank you for the suggestions. Right, the middle man can't deliver. I don't want to piss off my roommate. I have no idea how to find another dealer. Will have to research it.

    Finding a new dealer isn't easy, but at this point, you'd just be a guy asking a guy to ask a guy to ask a guy for a hookup and yeah don't be surprised that maybe some of the guys in that line up don't want to be a bother. :p

    You can try...It will go one of two ways and likely end the same way anyway.
     
    You'll either catch shit for asking, or he'll tell you he will talk to him...And then it ends, just like that. :cool:

    If you buy weight Ya try. But if you just looking for like an eighth don't. In my experience if someone can vouch for you and you aren't buying small it's chill.

    What about asking if it would be OK to go directly to the guy, "just until you're able to work again?"  That way, he preserves his customer and it's a win-win for everyone.

    this is why I hate going through middle men, there were times where dealing with one ended up me waiting 2 weeks before I got something measly like an eighth. If you know this guy well enough, just ask for the guys info but don't be surprised if he does say no.
