This is more of a curiosity than something i desperately need to know. I was wondering that when a girl makes clear eye contact with you if it means you are attracted to us. Now i know that eye contact doesn't mean you want to have sex or anything but there has got to be some reason you are looking. Maybe its more of me not picking up on signals or maybe its just me being silly. Any insight ladies?
Though I'm a guy, I would imagine that direct eye contact is likely a positive indicator, though not all the time. You have to figure, if someone is making eye contact, they are more likely attracted to you than if they weren't making eye contact. But then again, I try to make eye contact with everyone, and I'm sure some girls do too.
While I agree, more specifically i meant to say when the girl is not in my general area but sitting somewhere across a room for example.

Ummm no. Sometimes, yes. But usually a girl will try to give you other signs, if she's actually into you. Eye contact is something that people practice in everyday situations, everywhere, as a way of being polite and socially adept.. Eye contact is just courteous. Even smiling isn't an indicator of flirting, though its a lot more likely than eye contact alone. Just means she's nice, more often than not.
the key is if she keeps looking, like you catch her multiple times, then I would say you have a shot.
Sometimes, but not always. I know sometimes I catch myself making clear eye contact with people just because I'm staring, but it doesn't necessarily mean that I think that person is good looking. And if you mean while in a conversation, I make clear eye contact with pretty much everyone, so it wouldn't be an indicator that I'm into you. If you notice a girl makes eye contact with you, and keeps looking away and you catch her looking back more than once, that MAY be a sign that she thinks you're cute or something. It all depends on the situation though, nah mean.
when I look at a guy for like 3 seconds or longer, I'm sending out the "I want you" vibes lol. especially if I look down then smile to myself
Hmmm yeah you guys seem to get the idea, I was definetly talking about mutliple prolonged periods of eye contact or staring. I realize that people may make eye contact by accident long distance and when your actually talking eye contact is just the norm.
