A question for all you veteran smokers...

Discussion in 'Experienced Cannabis Enthusiasts' started by BuddahLova23, Nov 2, 2006.

  1. So i have a question for all you guys who's been smoking for hella years...

what have you guys learned? in general.. let's hear what some of you guys come up with.

I'll start it off.. after 3 years, i've learned that life is sooo... sick. i couldn't describe it in words, but it's great.

  2. You're only one person, and your impact on the world is dictated by the small things in life, how you interact with others, what you consume, what you discard, the way you interact with the world around you.

Never lose sight that though your impact may be on of many others, this is the responsiblity we are charged with when we accept with our existence.

  3. i learned that i truly love mary jane for allowing me to smoke her. she has shown me many things.

and we are lucky to have many things we do in our lives. we must not take anything for granted.

  4. one thing i learned was i love smokin' wid buddahlova23. lmao wuddup dude.
anyways i'm gonna contribute to this thread.

I have a higher appreciation for life in general, family, friends, even having something to sit down on. I learned responsibility and my rights and i realize i find the answer to many things i question myself with before i question myself. hence i go into deep trains of thoughts and i can think for philosophically.

  5. i learned that smoking is a journey. i started out years ago just to get fucked up at parties back when i was a teen but as time went by and i smoked better herb i learned the true relaxation that can be gained by smoking. as well as the tons of personalities you are able to encounter along the way. sweet question!:smoking:

  6. During my seven years of smoking the herb, I've learned shit loads about myself, my mind - who I am, who I want to be, and why I bother trying. I've also learned about corruption, arrogance, and plain stupidity (referring to the idea of government, lol). Most importantly, I learned that life is a bitch.

  7. through 12 years i have come to many realizations about myself. i've seen that i am my own self and no one can change me but me. i've realized that there's much out in the world that i haven't seen and need to. ive also realized how important my family can be...all through self reflection by marijuana.

  8. All the important things in Life : Health, Wealth, and Relationships. Each day you need to be improving all three.

All that matters is who you love, and who loves you back.

    "Is it fun being you?"
    Most of the time, yes.
    "Then, what else is there?"

--In a Boston Legal episode, this hit me so hard when I heard it. TRUE WORDS.

  9. I've learned through my experiences that seniority, politeness, and manners really play a large role in life.

One thing I also learned, was... Declarative sentences... are sentences that are designed to give you information. Found that out when I was sitting there baked, watching pimp my ride. All of a sudden, i'm like "wow... he's using declarative sentences to give me information on what he's putting in the car." and it all clicked.

  10. In the 30 years I've been smoking, I've learned to enjoy the now. Sure we make plans for the future but not at to much of a hinderance on the enjoyment of today.

  11. when you're stoned and baking something in the oven, like cookies or pizza, do not forget to set a timer.

  12. Best advice ever.

  13. Same here, i mainly smoke to relax and help me work.

  14. Shit! THanks man, I forgot I had those in there.

  15. wow.. rasta man well said my man well said.. +rep

  16. it opened my eyes to seeing that everyone is the same no matter what. i thank mary jane everyday for the people ive met through it too.

  17. i learned that smokin blunts everyday for 7 yrs when i was a "teen" wasnt to wise, and switched to healthier ways of smokin since...even though a big ass 2gram blunt of dro is somehting i'd never pass ...i also realized to enjoy the things n people around me cause they aint gonna be here forever
mary j has always been there fo me and she could neva do this thuuug wrong
i respect the plant and love THC
    PEACE
    -a tru pothead

  18. Most would call me a young buck in life but when it comes to smoking i've been around for a good while, learned alot, seen alot , know alot.

one thing i've learned from the Use of Marijuana is how up tight most people are, and how you have to respect their positions in life with out losing the respect for your own.
Also, this just came to me today, my friend brought over some ROCKIN dank stuff man, it rocked my world, i wanna explain the trip i had off of this....

at the time we began smoking i had been awake for 42 hours because well, i work alot and play to many video games, i was a little tired. we smoked 2 more, and sitting on my bed listening to godsmack, i closed my eyes and just saw ... somthing, i don't know what it was but i couldn't stop concentrating on it, eventually inner thought made me think i had just woke up, and that i was just beginning a new for some reason, and then it all clicked at once, i open my eyes, " dude. i just tripped" my mind had a time laps thats the only way i can explain it, it was as if somthing happend but nothing in actuality had happend, and i saw how much u can learn off of a single trip, i was gone in the music and when i came thru, i realized how imature the people were that i had just put behind me, and how i need to stay true to my closest friends and the ones who care about me, it set me back on track and made me see the truth.

so what have i learnd off of the use of marijuana? Relaxation is the key to enlightenment... the type i hit today.
    dude, i just tripped. ;)

  19. word to that man. I realize that too. And being with someone who is really close to you will truly make you happy.

  20. find good friends, and share with them when they're broke, or can't find any, and you'll almost always be able to be high when you want to be. friends don't let friends go sober
