Hi, I am new to this forum, but i've been smoking since I was a junior in high school and I am now a senior in college. I went away this weekend and let my friends borrow my bubbler. In return they got about 1/5 of a qtip stuck in it because they were trying to clean it out. It is stuck. I've tried everything I've thought of. Its not a total downer at the moment, since I have other things to smoke out of, but I like to have a variety. Any help would be awesome. Thanks.
I soaked my bubbler overnight in a glass of water. I could try something acidic. The piece of qtip just won't budge.
An overnight iso soak probably wouldn't hurt. It'll probably make the qtip soggy enough to get out of there
I did burn it, but it is lodged down the hole. I got some oxy clean, I read it may break down the qtip while it also cleans it lol. I'm willing to try almost anything at the moment.
totally get a hoover/vacuum thing.. right, hold this over the mouth hole. then do it as if you're smoking, cover the carb and let the vacuum pull the lighter down and burn the Q-tip.
Thats what it looks like. I soaked it over night, 10 plus hours and it still seems to be stuck. I'm going crazy.
Id keep putting water in it and blowing through the bowl piece with my finger over the carb with the mouth piece pointing towards the sink until it comes out, or atleast enough to where you can get a bobbypin or safety pin and pull it out.
I've soaked it over night and nothing. I've tried blowing it out and trying to poke it down into the chamber. I could try Rubbing Alcohol also I guess. Maybe boiling it would help, but idk at this point.
So i've been soaking it for hours on end with some oxy and now I'm even more pissed cause its so damn clean and I wanna use it now lol.
when this happened to me a few years back i used a paperclip to get it out. took 20 mins of hard work but it worked.
