I got about halfway through, but it became cumbersome. It's good and I am sure I will go back to it. But I just needed a break. Did you finish it? Does it pick up?
I had to read this book last year for AP English. I hated it for the first half because I thought it was the most tedious book I've ever had to read. Eventually I got used to the stream of consciousness style of writing and I actually enjoyed it pretty thoroughly. It was a fairly difficult read though. Reading and discussing it with intelligent people was very helpful to my understanding and appreciation of it.
