I like to write poetry when i am high, sad, confused, happy, you name it i kinda suck at drawing, but i think i am somewhat decent at this any replies would be great! bad or good. (i wrote this after a close friend died a month ago) Untitled: Sometimes it seems so easy Sometimes it seems so hard Sometimes you think that nothing matters This thought makes me feel smart But every now and then when the time is simply right i think about what matters most the future, past, day and night Sure the kids may tease you Sure their laughs will hurt But overcoming is only half the battle Look down, and watch the dirt So next time you think its over Try to think of this Someone cares, somewhere on earth Be a child, and make a wish (its kind of girly, but whatever)
I like it, I can understand where you definately are coming from... But, I like to constructively criticize . The outro, I'd go more... finale, rather than conclusion? If that makes sense. I do like it though.
dont trip man. more "girly" or as a i like to call it optimistic and upbeat poetry is the hardest kind to write. it's easy to write dark, morbid, and pessimistic poetry. encompassing things like happiness, beauty, love, caring, etc. within your writing is what i think most people struggle with. i liked it and it only gets better the more you write. btw everyone can draw.. you draw everyday and you probably dont realize it. keep it up!
