A new adventure

  1. Day 28. These popped back into a cheerful mood after transplanting. Also happy to announce that I’ll be doing a solo cup grow for the Brooklyn Sunrise auto that I have entered into the comparative grow. That bean is soaking in water now. Hopefully into the dirt the next two days.

It will also stay in the solo cup all the way until harvest. Yes. I am going to be that guy who does it. Besides...I have three other plants in a 2x2 tent. It’s gonna be cramped.

Day 34. Wow! These Creams are seriously impressing me. The Licorish Mumma, not so much. Might be the Genetics so I won’t say much until harvest time. LM is sitting inside a 2.5 gallon pot. Creams are inside of the one gallon pots. The autoflower, Brooklyn Sunrise, didn’t make it through. No clue why. Used the same method I’ve used to pop seeds before. Anyways, I have one that’s popped, and tap root showing. She got put into dirt today so now we wait on a new life.

  6. F986DF17-4302-47F7-A3F3-37CA47CCF7F7.jpeg Brooklyn Sunrise has sprouted!!! This is for the comparative grow that the Vault has going on here on the forums. This grow is going to be a solo cup challenge. Why? Just because I don’t have room in the tent. Haha.

  7. Hey man I haven't been on in awhile but good looking grow

You're gonna let us know how that competition goes, right?

I've always wanted to do one of those micro grow ones

I've seen in Michaels and Hobby Lobby they have these really tiny wooden pots and I'm like "Could it work?" every single time

    Here are my plants:

    This is on the 16th

I have done LST as you can see and also some defoliation
    IMG_0501[1].JPG

This is now even though you can't really tell ive done defoliation

I also flipped it on the 18th and it entered preflower that next week

it's still doing that four node thing but as for increasing my yield I would say no because not all of them are growing stems and if they are, they are tiny. What I mean is that I will have one stem out of a four node spot and the rest will have nothing or tiny stems

Now there are some four nodes that are growing stems on all but would a bigger plant have more chances to do that and thus increase yield? I don't know
    IMG_0505[1].JPG

But I wanted to show you guys these main colas on the four node stems
IMG_0507[1].JPG IMG_0509[1].JPG IMG_0510[1].JPG I wish I had a better camera but it kind of looks like the inside of a sunflower and I'm really interested to see how the bud looks once it's done

It should be dense as fuck with four times the bud growing out of the same spot, right?

Still seeing no signs of sexing. Hopefully going to flip them to 12/12 next week. Debating on holding off until day 60 alone purely because I want that Licorish Mumma to branch out a good amount more. I’m just afraid of getting the Creams root bound inside of that one gallon container that they currently are sitting inside of. Day 4 for the Brooklyn Sunrise.

  9. So I tried to hang my carbon filter and fan. Well...the fan fell right on top of my strongest Cream and broke the pot. I’m trying to fix everything right now. Hopefully it makes on through

  10. Let Mother Nature take her course and see if those develop. It won’t hurt anyways.

  11. Ah man that sucks. How is the plant? Did you manage to salvage it?

I must of had lucked out. Here is the plant this morning. Front left.

All I remember was the crash of the fan coming down and splitting the plastic pot into two which is why I assumed the worst for the plant.

Can anyone say theyve really grown marijuana without ever dropping some shit on their plants?

    Part of the experience
I'm having some major deficiency issues

I'm thinking because the nutes are a couple years old because when I first got them I didn't have these problems

These pics are just one but still kind of looking like a sunflower

Based on the size of the other buds this is really four times the size

Dude cannabis plants are so tough

Like they want to grow so bad they can come back from like anything

Cut that bitch in half? Give it two weeks, it'll be growing new stems like nothing happened.

Have you ever seen potting bags? I have seen some on Amazon and apparently it's supposed to help your roots because they can breathe more through the bag

Autoflower isn’t impressing me much truthfully. Day 10 for the auto. Next water feeding will be a light bloom watering to help them get going.

I’m guessing I ended up with all girls. They are showing no ball sacks and I’m seeing what looks like flowering sites popping up but I’m not so sure. Here is a little before and after shot. Enjoy.

  18. 1539320C-1F2E-4DAE-8C0F-729A0EAAB835.jpeg Day 49. Day 8 since switching to 12/12. Day 15 for the auto. I’ve been working both jobs all week long. My lights on happens after I leave for work and they go off before I make it back from work. I’ve tried so hard to not disturb them but I had to check in on them today. Not looking so good. The plants were in desperate need of water as the last time they got anything was Sunday morning and it is now Wednesday night. At least I am without a doubt putting them through a stress test. I’ll snag a pic on Friday, hopefully they will have bounced back by that point. Still not impressed with this autoflower.

Day 10 since switching to flower. Day 17 for the autoflower. The plants bounced back pretty good after going without water. Today I decided to clean up the plants a bit. Hope you guys enjoy the before and after. Still have no clear signs of females ten days into flower.
