A new adventure

  1. I did in my very first grow. I haven’t had any issues with the last grow and nothing so far. Look at mosquito dunks for gnats next time.

I also introduced a new item into their feed. I got this bottle that is supposed to be a foliar feed so I’m curious to see what it does.

  3. Your plants are looking good man. I notice that the one in front and the one on the left stretched themselves a tiny bit there

Im curious about the foliar feed as well

Here is my plant at(I lost count) three weeks-ish

Im debating whether to flip the lights for flowering soon and I was thinking of topping as well

  4. I’m not sure if I would say that they stretched as much as I would say that’s its just Genetics and phenos.

In your case, I would top them and veg them out a bit more with some LST before flipping into flower.

  5. Well I only said stretched because the cream in front is higher than the other even though they are at a similar stage and the fact that the cotyledons are so far from the soil

Im still a new grower so if you say genetics I cant say "no."

The reason why i am thinking of flowering now is because I know it will take about three weeks before it starts to flower and it will keep growing new stems throughout

In all my previous grows the plant out grew the space it was in but since this plant is growing so much smaller than the others that may not be an issue

  6. The general rule is to flip them and expect them to get twice as big as the current size when flipped? Another thing you can do to help that transition is go back off the veg nutes and start applying small amounts of flowering nutes before flipping.

  7. F3A909D0-0930-41A2-847E-673CF27173B2.jpeg Well guys, it’s the weekend. Let’s make the best out of it. I am. Yes, my trim job sucks. Haha, it’s alright because it’s only me who is smoking this bud and one buddy of mine who is gonna test the Sour Livers out for me. He doesn’t know that it was me who grew it so I know I’ll get a legit response back.

Also should mention that I have pinched the stems in an effort to strengthen up the plants. Another week or two and I’ll transplant them into gallon pots to finish out sexing. Mumma will be going into 2.5 gallon pot at the end and if I somehow end up with two males from the Cream, I’ll be tossing in the autos from the new comparative grow if I get accepted otherwise I’ll toss another Pineapple Express into a one gallon.

  9. My trim jobs look even worse
It just takes so long to properly trim and then you still miss some

    Good looking plants

Here are mine 5 days later

While you cant see, every single stem in there is growing their own stems

    I also topped it

  10. So my plants have been growing in a strange way and Im not sure if it's this plant strain or just this seed but like you know how normally you get one set of leaves growing one way and then another level up they grow another way?

On this plant the leaves are not forming another level up but on the same level so I have 3 or four leaves growing around the stem

I dont know how it will affect yield but it's times like this I wish i had the setup to do veg and flower at the same time so I could breed these genetics

  11. I literally just picked up a second job so I can buy a second tent and light for flowering and keep my old tent for vegging

Day 20. These kiddos are growing up so fast. Another week and I’ll toss them into bigger pots to sex out and flip into flowering.

  13. Any pictures?

One of my recent plants started doing this and it may be due to pH.

Do you have an idea of pH of your soil or feed?

  14. Day 21. I woke up to a growth spurt overnight. The runt has caught up and overtaken everyone. Getting interesting for sure. F8A48461-32F6-408F-9AC4-896CBF45616C.jpeg AF32A936-368C-4367-8769-A0707B5C542D.jpeg

I use hydroponics and water is at PH 5.0 I belive

Advanced Nutrients keeps the PH at that the whole time

Since you know something about PH do me a favor and scroll up to the last pics I posted

You notice in the bottom right leaf that it is turning brown but I also notice some yellowing on some leaves

Some tips are yellow other leaves have streaks forming

Im trying my best for this grow not to have nute burn all over the place but I have no idea if this is a burn or deficiency or something else

I have noticed marijuana has an incredible ability to recover and grow fast from anything

That little one in front in the early stages stretched, fell over, and broke and still came back in a few weeks to catch up to the other two plants

I called it Survivor and it sucks it turned out to be male

It is a photo. I dont want to do autos because I want to control just how much I bud I can get out of my space

I figured I will veg for another week or so

I usually veg for 4 weeks but I was thinking with smaller plant I can let it veg longer

  17. Honestly, I would trim up those bottoms anyways. If it happens again on the new growth, it might be worth looking into. One or two minor things like that are just part of the game.

Now those multiple sites are badass to see. More flowering sites.

Today Cream B got a nice watering since it was light. Cream A and LM still had some weight on them so I left those two alone. I also went ahead and topped Cream B and cut away branching at the sides from all plants.

Licorish Mumma is going into a 2.5 gallon bucket tomorrow as long as it arrives on time. Creams are going into one gallon buckets to sex out. If I end up with two males, it’ll be alright. I have these tester autos that I’m going to pop. Should I end up with two females, one is going into a 2.5 gallon pot, and the other is gonna stay in the one gallon. This is a good test for the plants by root bounding them inside the solo cups. Watering every other day now so those roots are seriously drinking. Anyways...here are the pictures. Oh...and i just watered them so that’s the spots on the leaves. Not bugs or mildew.

Transplant day for all the plants. Two more weeks of veg, and hopefully they will show sex. Clearly these kiddos were ready for a change.
