Haha so I went on vacation for a week so I got self watering plants. Bad idea for new clones because they don't have the root system for all that water yet and it just sat. Now that I'm back I've been letting them dry but this morning a mushroom broke the soil! Wth do I do now?
Lol what do you mean? How so? And an update, I let the soil dry for about a week and a half and pulled about 5 mushrooms per pot a day. Finally yesterday I pulled the last two shriveled ones and that seems to be the last of it!
I think he means that if fungi grow on soil, it's VERY healthy and full of nutrients. So good on you, Keep the plant and the mushroom. You can pick the mushroom if you want but you can keep it in there and let it run it's life cycle and decompose again.
Thanks for that clarification! I pulled them all because there were so many of them, but in the future ill let them grow out.
I'd pull those shrooms, it's not good to have mushrooms and cannabis growing together. The spores from the shrooms could cause mold on your plants or other problems. Everyone grower would have a shroom grow right in their grow rooms if it was ok because shrooms release co2 when they fruit, but it's not a good thing, so people never grow them together.... Some spores made their way into your bag somehow and they just started growing from the moisture. Don't over water and make sure the soil dries out somewhat and the pot feels light before watering again.
NO, NO AND NO, Why are you telling this person to possibly poision themselves? Lets not go into this subject, I hope a mod can close this. This thread is old, and the OP has probably sorted their problems by now.
