yesterday morning I put my first germinated short rider into its final resting pot and gave it a fraction of a soil tab I don't know whether it was reacting badly too the soil, nutrient or repotting but the 2 little fan leaves i think there called (its 2nd/3rd day above ground) were purple, and getting darker brown and the stem was purple also, so I picked up the pot but accident dropped it and it came out I thought it was finished gunna die from stress and such but I picked up all the soil and put it back nice and neatly, watered and just asked the plant too get better, left it for the night came back today and checked it and its turning green again and looking healthy!! not the stem but still I was like !! anybody know what this might be?
its being grown outside brah dont think it was due too cold though because it was a hot sunny day when it showed up
hehe yeah i moved one of mine because it showed hermi the other day, thought it was gonna die for sure, it was drooping bad and everything from the shock... but, low and behold new leaf growth today!
I did grow quite a few riders and the stems not the leaf are purple sometimes. Not to worry in my opinion. http://forum.grasscity.com/indoor-grow-journals/716779-stealth-diesel-ryder-autofem-grow.html
All in all, it aint no thang. Purple stems happen a lot with all growers, it's something that just happens I guess. Doesn't harm the plant, and in the end, that's what we all want to know
