  1. Alright, my plant, which I have nursed from seed is a male I think. I'm so frustrated, because I grew three plants from seed and they were all male, but I guess that's just tough odds.

Anways, Ill post pictures before I cut him down tonight, just to confirm the sex.

  2. indeed, male

  3. Aargg... I don't wanna believe it.

  4. Yep, sorry, Oscar Mayer Weiner time. That's why I always suggest sprouting no fewer than 3 seeds, that way your odds of getting at least one female are 87.5%.

  5. Yeah, I guess I just fit into that 12.5% that don't get even 1 female from 3 seeds. My luck, oh well. I'm already got sprouts for the next grow. I think I'll definately sprout more than 3 this time. I can probably fit 5 in my grow chamber until flower.

  6. Bloody males, sorry mate. I feel for you - all that time and care.... I'm having a bowl for you tonight.

  7. lol, thanks dude.

  8. Watch, you'll get five girls and have a whole new, good problem.

  9. Yeah, I need to start being really nice to people, get my karma up.

  10. buying fem seeds is cheap and awesome ;]

  11. Sorry to hear that bud...its something anyone who decides on growing MJ hates to hear/see first hand. I just started my first grow 5-6 weeks ago, after the first week and a bit I had to leave for X-mas break so I didn't see them for 3 weeks or so (they were watered while I was gone) I came back, and 3 were smallish and one was wayyy bigger then the rest (it was 5 days younger then the rest and I was seeing it was catching up as i left for break) I was worried it was gonna be a male, as I was told at the time that males grow faster (so I was quite negative) Anyways, this past week it showed female preflowers (pistols). I was so happy to see this, because it is so much ahead of the rest (despite being younger, etc) andthe fact I thought it was male. I had major PH issues that I found out when I got back (which is why my other 3 were so small when I got back, they've pickedup now). But now since it has showed to be female, I feel as if I have a very good plant (at least good) genetics wise. Since it was under the same conditions as the rest (being given water with ph of at least 7.7+ for 3 weeks, etc) and managing to grow as big as it did despite of how it was treated, I've decided to keep her growing and use her as a mother for clones for my next grow (hps coming today or tomorrow) and hopefully I will get clones that are as tough as she has been over the past 5 or 6 weeks (she is now Approx 1.5ft tall)...which only means good news hopefully and good BUD....

I'm gonna flower the 3 other subpar plants wen they grow a bit more, but i'm looking forward to building a box and being able to harvest 3-5 plants every 2 months or so...and never have to worry about buying anymore...

oh yea I forgot to mention, the strain is Skunk#1...

  12. Exactly.

  13. that is definitly a MACHO thats the way we say it here in ROTTERDAM, NETHERLANDS..

  14. Dude - gutted for you! That is harsh. Seriously, try feminised seeds next time cos it saves the heartbreak. I wish you strong, healthy and massive growths in future!!!!:hello:
