So I started these first in water, then paper towel then to soil.. the one AK looks pretty good pictured below.. but the others pictured sprouted with the seed shell still on it. The shell I carefully got off with a pair of tweezers, got the shell a little wet and it came right off.. just worried the leaves aren’t open.. do you think they’ll open? Thanks
Give them a few hours and they'll look completely different Sometimes you have to otherwise the plant will die
Probably the reason they are not opening is because the membrane inside the seed shell is still attached. Spray with water to soften it and gently pry it off with a toothpick. Good luck.
Thanks guys, I feel a bit better now.. I did what you said.. sprayed a little water and gently pulled off the membrane. Worked great. This forum has helped me so much already.
Little update on the children, moved to a bigger tote, and upgraded my lighting to a 600w LED grow light and a 75w grow light. The 3 AK47’s are looking pretty good.. The pineapple chunk has popped, also a pure power has popped.. I lost the fruit punch Auto which sucked but I know it happens.
Really happy with how they are coming alone. The 3 AK’s are taking off and now the pineapple chunk and pure power are looking good! I backed the light up to 18in and they seems to help a ton. I’ll keep updating
We are just under 4 weeks in on this AK47 plant.. 18hrs on 6 off every day. Why am I seeing little hairs already like it’s budding ? This isn’t an auto either... just curious if this was normal.. I did top this one
