a little mold

  1. I was a little too anxious to start curing and the stuff was a little too wet. Been checking it daily and today noticed a light coating of fuzzy whiteness on them. Some of them obviously have this light coating. The ones from the same bag that appear to not have it reveal an even lighter coating when using the handy dandy Radio Shack 60-100X microscope we all know and love. Do I have to throw it all out or is there a way to salvage since it's so light. I heard that UV exposure can be effective. Anyone out there with experience.
    Thanks.

  2. i sinned as well. i was able to salvage the lightly effected bud by laying flat on metal tray and puting in the sun for about 20 minutes. then letting lots of air for many hrs at a time. so far it's worked to a point, but after a week, you still need to go through and eliminate the pieces that show results of decay. the pieces where there are just some white spots on the bud leaf, i was able to pull off and salvage the balance.
but it is not a happy thing. i wouldn't smoke the "clean" pieces without a vap.(unless someone says the mold doesn't burn off)
do what fly says, sell quick!.

  3. Thanks DOM. It hurts but I'm trashing it. It's kind of a lot, about 1/8 of my total yield, but it's just not worth it. I had a respiratory infection a few years ago and it was about as sick as I've ever been. Not worth repeating. Thanks again.

  4. LOL, deadold, I have recanted my foolish ways. Do not sell mouldy bud. Wipe the mould off first!

  5.  you crack me up
