A little less light every day.

  1. Just had a thought, and was wondering if anyone has tried it.
What would happen if your plant(s) were in flower, and you gave it an extra two minutes of darkness every day. As in to copycat the sun and how each day gets a tiny bit shorter. After another 30 days when the plant is closing in on harvest time, it would be in 13dark/11light.
Has anyone tried this, or does anyone know anyone who has tried this? Just curious as to what it would do to the plants' growth and how it would react?

    Thanks guys! :D

  2. Im quite curious about this myself, ill post a picture of end resault of taking 1 hr off start up light and 30 mins off from the turn off so making it 10:30 light and 13:30 hour dark in a few days.

Popped into my head on week 9 and day 3 been doing it now for 2 days, waitin on that finishin look to chop, its a great white shark sechualed for 10 weeks. (perhaps some change)

Sadly i dont have any before pictures nor uneffected same strain, so in its essence this will be a poor arse sience experiment but everyone likes budporn ye?

  3. I think I'm going to try this as well. I think it would possibly help the plant flower a little faster, because it is in a more realisitc light schedule "moving towards fall/autumn," and help with THC prodctuion. Instead of being on a strict 12/12, it would be a light schedule that mimics the days getting shorter, ya know?

Btw great white ends up being a beautiful plant, you're pretty lucky to have gotten your hands on some! Let me know when it's choppy choppy time, I'm interested to see how it turns out! :D
