What's happening GC? I hope you all had a good 4/20 - I sure did as I decided to harvest my girls pictured here. The specs are: - 2 clones each of Barney's Farm LSD and Reserva Privada's Purple Wreck, from Attitude seedbank. Kept the mothers and am starting a perpetual grow. - Used a 4 site undercurrent DWC, homemade and tucked into a 2' deep x 3' wide x 34" cabinet. - Lucas system for nutrients, about 11 gallons of solution when full. - Vegged for about 2 weeks then put a SCROG on them and flipped to 12/12 - Prosource180 used for lighting I'll update later when I get a dry weight. Right now I'm just blown away by the quality of the buds. They're sticky, smelly and hard as rocks - if they're not very big at least there's a whole lot of them. Any questions or comments please fire away, I kept a pretty comprehensive journal so I could refer back for years to come. And before I forget: A special thank you to the "YOU" that makes up the GC community. I could have never pulled this off before I found this site, I mean I knew how to grow but I didn't really know, you know? Thanks a bunch, if I could pack everyone a bowl I would.
Got them all trimmed and put into jars for the cure. What a pain in the nuts that is - took me a couple hours after work for three straight nights last week - but I suffered through it and now I have a little over 100 grams of kind buds. I also have a big salad bowl full of trim and tiny buds that is either going to become pot butter or hash - haven't decided yet. Forgot to mention that in addition to the 4 in my DWC, I had another LSD clone so I stuck it in a little container of Easy Organic Soil Mix in the corner of my cabinet. Despite having a small container and being on the edge of the light she grew well and gave me a good control plant to make sure things in my hydro setup were going OK. So I have about 10 grams of organically grown LSD buds and I'll be able to do taste test (and high test, that's what it's really all about) versus hydro. So I'm pretty happy with it. It was my first crack at hydro, DWC, and SCROG, twelve weeks from start to finish and I got a little under a QP. I had a couple of little mistakes which I will not be repeating so I think there's room for improvement. A few little tweaks to the room and the DWC machine and I'll get better results. But that's going to have to wait until fall - I'm not fighting high water temps all summer so it's back to soil for me.
Thanks man, they say that LED don't penetrate the canopy and there's some truth to that, but when the canopy is all even and at one level they kick ass.
