a little experiment someone might do for me?

im sure most of you have heard of LED grow lights and know how plants respond to different wave lenghts of light.

after much research i have found that blue and red lights emit ideal wavelengths for marijuana to grow.

LED grow lights are ridiculously over priced, so i decided to go w/ 1000w HPS, but thats not the point of this post.

ive read that its very hard for light to reach far under the canopy, so i had this idea to buy a few good lengths of red and blue christmas lights and drape them around the plants kind of like a christmas tree.

it will be quite a while before my grow room will be set up so thats why i was wondering if anyone on this board who has their own grow room and is willing to try this little experiment of mine.

it cant hurt the plants (unless you try to rap a ridiculous amount of lights around them), and if it works you may significantly increase your productivity.

and just to be clear, im not suggesting you swap your regular lamps for christmas lights, im just suggesting that you pick out a few "test subjects" and rap some lights around them but DONT CHANGE ANYTHING ELSE.

their is no risk to this, either it works or it doesnt.

so anyone willing to give this a shot?
