A little confused

  1. Well, Like I stated in another thread, I am starting my first grow. I want to do this right.

It is going to be a closet grow, and I was wondering if I would have any problems with ventilation? If so what are some way to fix this?

What would be a good setup to have? (anyone nice enough to draw, heheh).

Here is pretty much what the closet looks like, and I measures out the lengths:

edit: oops thats meant to say 27 inches (not feet) on the left.

Also, on top of ventilation, I was wondering about odor control? Im almost certain I am growing Northern Lights so I don't think I will have too much trouble.

    So 3 questions
    1. Setup
    2. Ventilation
    3. Odor Control

Pretty much it all evolves around the setup of the grow. I don't have too much money to set aside, and I may have a light to use.

  2. Well that's a decent space so you could put a nice set up in there, but since you're tight on money I doubt you're going to want to be spending $1000 on your first grow. So before anybody can recommend a setup, how many plants do you want to grow, and give a more exact budget.
Ventilation is all going to depend on the type of light and how many lights you have.

  3. 2 plants at most, as this is more personal use than anything. I was planning on using CFL lights. Not positive on watts or how many.

As for money, I can get a lot of the materials I need free. Only thing I am worried about is lights, ventilation and odor control.

  4. Alright well for 2 plants you 're only going to need about 1 sq foot per plant, you could probably fit them both in that 1 foot by 27" space.
With CFL's in veg you're going to want some that say 6500k color temp and for flower you want some 2600 - 3000k color temp. I would get 4 30W cfl's for each plant and get another 2 each once you start flowering. You could get away with less bulbs, but you'll have smaller buds.

  5. alright, thanks! +rep
