I could use a little advice, folks. On my other mature Skunk #1 plant I was inspecting it today and found this patch of was either mold or some other type of fungus. As you can see - it's on the branch - I've not been able to detect any on the buds. It was a medium grey in color and not real fuzzy - more like a pile carpet in texture. Well, being the smart guy that I am, I decided to try to deal with it by very carefully wiping it up/off with a cotton pad liberally soaked in 99% rubbing alcohol. It seemed to take off the crap ok - and this is what's left behind. I'm sorry now that I hadn't taken a pic before I wiped it, of course. Any ideas as to how to proceed? Applying some pruning sealer goo? Cutting off the branch - which I hate to do as it is supporting five large buds. Maybe treat it with some other chemical? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanx
Cut the infected area off completly. I had some Grey Mold this year on a couple of buds, I don't really know if that is what is on your plant. Cut it off just to be safe dude!
