Zeitgeist is nonsense and some ideas promoted by the Venus project are not feasible. However I think you're judging the man too harshly, Jaque Fresco makes a lot of sense, and it's always a delight to see an old man (97 years old) with such a sharp mind. He is not always right, and a bit naive in some of his assumptions, but that doesn't discard everything he says or stand for.
This is the problem: how do we deal with someone who is naive and not always right? Do we give his other ideas the benefit of the doubt because he is a sharp thinker? I have to be honest, I would not recommend it unless there is evidence elsewhere to support him that is not a part of the Venus Project or Thrive. He lives in a fantasy world, and his ideas on a new global structure are completely unworkable. MelT
Thrive was funded by the wealthy. Peter Joseph and jacque fresco pays funded their own and they have no relations. I felt that thrive was a copy cat of the Venus project. Maybe some of Jacques ideas are a lil out of date and weathered. But atleast he is on the right path. Not everything about his ideas i agree with either. But that still does not discount the fact that the people of earth needs a new way of living for all people. And yes we can create a new society were all humans are united and abolishing the money system. It won't happen over night hut it is doable.
