    It definately looks good.

    Any specific release date set for it?

    yea the books were great and HBO usually has a great product so im excited :smoke:

    true that. I didn't read the books but HBO comes out with great shows. The Pacific, Boardwalk Empire, Entourage ect...

    I'm sure the books will still be 1000x better, like any other book made into a movie.(or sho)

    I am! i read a lot of books and i can honestly say that those ones are my favorite series ever. EVVERRR.. masterfully written, in all aspects. I was so excited when i heard HBO was making a series out of them. now Georgie just needs to hurry up and release "A Dance of Dragons" already. it's been like 6 years since the last one!

    cant believe i just saw this thread. Best book series I have ever read. I've pretty much forced all of my family and friends to read it lol.

    I trust that HBO will do a good job with it.

    April 17th "Winter is coming" (Release date for those wondering)

    Shall be an epic battle for the iron throne. If the old bastard doesn't finish the series because of this show going into production i'm going to be pretty upset.

    Still think the series is looking good, excited for the premiere.
