i plan on using hydro for my grows. ebb & flow for flower and ether dwc or drip for veg am not sure yet. I will be using 4 bulb 4 foot t12 flouros for my clones and mother plants. I have also bought a 400 watt hps for my flowering room. now for my questions what size room and how many plants can i have in my flowering room. i plan on vegging my clones for 2 or 3 weeks first.
sorry to have asked for the same old info everyone else has asked a hundred times before but i have done searches for this info and have gotten a bunch of conflicting answers. i have read that it will light everything from a 2 1/2' x 2 1/2' to a 6' x 6' garden and could have anywere from 3 to 8 plants just a litle confused. i am just trying to build an optimal envirerment for my grow. any help would be greatfully appreciated. thankyou

The number of plants in one space depends on how u gona grow em'. If u do a SOG(see of green) method. then u can put plants right next too each other. If u use a SCROG, its usually around 30-40cm apart. You can have as many plants in one space as u can fit. More plants would mean less vegging time in one box. I grow with a 400w HPS in a 3'x2' box. I would only use one 400w bulb to cover AT MOST 3'x3'. I beleive a good rule is 400w per 3 foot squared when growing in cupboards and tent etc. Oh, and my 3'x2' box only has 3 plants in it using a SROG, check out my harvest.
Just wanted to say thank u for all the help and tell u what ive decited on. my flower room will have a 3'x2' ebb&flow table and a 400 watt hps light. my veg room will have drip tables for my mother and clone plants and will be using 4 foot t12 flouros cause thats what i have on hand. my hps ballest, timmers and fan controles will be in a different part of the grow are than the plants. here is a simple drawing of what i plan. if any has any comments please fell free to tell me allways looking for improvments
