a digital readout for analog vaporizers?

  1. hey all, this isn't my idea, i saw someone talk about it in the DBV thread at FC, but it works great. just plug the vaporizer into a kill-a-watt or other similar wattmeter (i like the belkin conserve insight because the display and controls are on a long cord: [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Belkin-Conserve-Insight-F7C005q-Energy-Use/dp/B003P2UMP8/"]Amazon.com: Belkin Conserve Insight F7C005q Energy-Use Monitor: Electronics[/ame]), and the watts-consumed lets you find your sweet spot easily. for example at full power my DBV is using 35.5W, and i know my sweet spot is right at 23W. it makes it much easier to test different settings and repeat them.

i'm starting this thread because i wanted to see if anyone else is doing this, is there something i'm doing wrong, how does it work with other vapes, etc... searched but didn't see any mention of it.

  2. This is best to be asked at FC
