A Course in Miracles

  1. Is anyone here familiar with this book?

I recently finished The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle, a book I highly recommend, and he referenced A Course in Miracles a number of times. The quotes Tolle used inspired me to check this book out.

It seems like a modern Bible. It doesn't really explain itself (at least not early in the text.) It just begins discoursing on the nature of miracles with a kind of simple authority.

The introduction alone had me intrigued...

I was just wondering if any of you guys had any thoughts or opinions on this book.

I haven't, but it sparks interest in my mind. Tolle is an interesting author and I will be reading this! Thanks brother

  3. I have the book... I'd recommend it. It's pretty damn interesting.

It makes the claim that Jesus wrote the book just a few years ago whenever it was released.
