i'm going to be moving to an apartment in about 4 months after my first semester in college. I would be growing 3 plants at the most(probably 2) in a pretty big closet. roughly, how much would all of my supplies cost and would i need anything to cover up the smell? It would probably be a bagseed grow, is it possible to get dank if i do everything right. I wouldn't be doing anything special, like hydroponics to keep the price low.
There was an electricity calc somewhere. But if you pay 0.11$ per kilowatt hour, then 1 250W lamp running on 18/6 and lets say you have 1 or 2 small fans, should come up to about 15$. Pretty low if you ask me. And surely not something that will alert anyone. About equip costs and all of that, I hope some of the experts around here can help you. Where I live, all the equip for this purpose costs something like 200$, but I guess its cheaper in the states. Also, try to improvise on some of the stuff. you dont NEED the digital thermometer/humidity meter for 20$. I found a 1$ thermometer a garage sale and it works just fine.
