These are just a few of my drawings, I mostly just stick to doodling in class hence the lined paper. Comments and advice is much appreciated ^^
+Rep Just a bit of advice. You should layer your colored pencil in places. You can see the white paper come through in a few places. Also white colored pencils are good blending tools.
Here's a few more things i've been noodling around with... I just got photoshop so I scanned in a few of my drawings and played around with some stuff. (there are lines on the hand tree photoshop because it was before i discovered the magical clone stamp )
dude those are sweeet!!! i sell art for a living, so i can appreciate. Check out this one its one of my friends pieces., colored pencil and marker .. i think youll like...
Nice work, I like your style. Reminds me of some stuff you would see in The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus.
Impressive gentlemen! I just started drawing recently, have not done it for about a year or two but in a few months I will post some of my work... I am intimidated by all this talent
this is pretty sweet dude, i'm lovin the patterns he's got goin' on the spikes coming out from the drawing, i've always had a bit of trouble with symmetry in the drawings where i've attempted it... i'll upload a few more drawings soon, school's been out of session for break, and break's been good to me so i havent had too much sitting around time to work on some new things
This is my latest, it's another drawing that i scanned and colorized on photoshop (i cheated with the comet and nebula but did the stars myself)
great work! this is pissing me off though, im always drawing and i never come up with all this creative shit i see on the forums i feel like my drawing skills havent improved in years
Use your third eye OP - Excellent work. I try to stray away from "realistic" objects when I draw, just my style. I like the colors in the 2nd post with pictures, you have a great eye. Check out my thread when you get a chance. Also, get a sketchbook asap.
Nothing will do that for you except yourself. Drugs merely aid (or incapacitate) your own abilities. Every single piece of art in my thread started with one random line, and I went from there. Look for how that line can be used in the shape of something, whether it be a letter, object, or your projection of an idea. That's usually where I start. The "hard" skills of art (shading, coloring, color-coordinating) all come from taking classes or troubleshooting by yourself. Practice helps quite a bit, especially with a fine tuned thing like drawing.
Ya I gotta tip, lay off the pot that stuff is trippy! All kidding aside though your art is pretty dope
