A bit about knowing

Discussion in 'Philosophy' started by YEM, Sep 24, 2009.

  1. So it is well know that

The only thing that we know is nothing.

So what is it that we don't know?

Is there more than what eats at your eye?
  2. Define "know".

I think we "know" a lot of things, in our own special sense.
  3. Certain in our knowledge or information on various subjects.
  4. Simply put, we don't know everything. We, the human species, assume inferior minds in lesser species justify our inter-special ignorance.

Until we learn to live in harmony with what the Universe has provided us with and halt our attempts to separate ourselves completely from these so called "inferior minds", we will never know anything.

Our knowledge is ignorance, our ignorance is deplorable.
  5. Five.

I like how AK Infinity essentially put it. There's no limit to the things we may know, EXCEPT certainty.
  6. I don't know who I am.
