Capitalism is the best system by any standard or measure. Economically, morally, socially, etc. It's ridiculously evident to people who understand it, but unfortunately widespread ignorance is the norm. It doesn't help when Keynesian is taught in schools and dominates the media, and people like the government growing Reagan are seen as examples of fiscal conservatism. The average person has never even heard of Ludwig Von Mises or Murray Rothbard, but they have probably heard of Milton Friedman (another fake champion of the "free market").
