You probably just became my favourite blade. Damn I miss my mkiii Nice looking cars man, you have good taste they are all nice and clean
Absolutely sick rides! Always dreamed of having a TT supra like that. Love building cars myself but I'm more of an American muscle builder. Currently building a 65 mustang GT. I drove a 1977 F-150 as my first car for many months. Love seeing other blades with the same car passion I have had with me since day one
Do you plan on doing any more builds? Bring a 2JZ to Tennessee and we'll drop it into the mustang you supply the engine, I'll supply the car hahahaha
Sounds great I like the video where your girl redlined it and was like "I was so scared" haha I make my girl do the same shit Sent from my iPhone 5s using Grasscity Forum..grabba dabba goo
Should be fixed now buddy. Thanks for stopping by. I was in Tennesee last month. Nice people. Anyway, I'v seen a 2jz in plenty of Mustangs before. It's really not that hard of swap. Man, I'm always balls deep in some kind of swap. Currently, I am working on my 1998 Lexus SC400 V8. I'm in the process of swapping to a 2jz-gte VVT-i, Getrag V160/161 6 speed trans, TRD diff, etc. I want 800 rwhp out of that car so I got a Garrett GTX-4202-R single turbo coming in the mail and I will be running it with a standalone, probably HKS F-con V-Pro, Q16, C16 or E85 race gas and other supporting mods. I also just bought an '03 Lexus IS300 Sports Design. It's stock now but it will soon have a 1jz-gte VVT-i with a R154 5 speed. Hopefully then, my Toyota JZ family will be complete. But if only I could get a real Toyota Chaser.... Haha, that's actually my sister. Still funny though.
In case the 1st video doesn't work, here is another one with a little better quality. You can really hear how solid the motor is. The VVT-i really makes a noticeable difference in torque and top end and I still get 25 MPG. This is from 40-100 MPH. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jddZju6vg0Q
Thought about doing a swap on a Cressida? Sent from my iPhone 5s using Grasscity Forum..grabba dabba goo
You love those TT supra wheels haha Don't blame ya they look great polished Sent from my iPhone 5s using Grasscity Forum..grabba dabba goo
Yeah, I do like them a lot but mostly because they are 8 inches wide in the front and 9.5 inches wide in the back and can fit really meaty/wide tires on there. 275/35/17 tires up front and 315/35/17s out back. Love that setup.
For stock wheels I love the starion/conquest 16x8 up front 16x9 in the back but a 0 offset so they fit really good I rock them on my rx7 But dam never knew the TT rims were 9.5 in the back Sent from my iPhone 5s using Grasscity Forum..grabba dabba goo
Yeah dude, even the NA Supra wheels are 16x9 in the back. Those starion/conquest 16x9s sound great for a cheap drag strip set. What bolt pattern are they?
Yeah that why I like they cheap and look nice with a deep dish But yeah they are 5x114.3 Sent from my iPhone 5s using Grasscity Forum..grabba dabba goo
IKR the gauges are awesome looks like a fine watch Sent from my iPhone 5s using Grasscity Forum..grabba dabba goo
