I just got this 98 sable with around 80k miles on it. It runs pretty nice and I think it has a V6. Its got some pop in it from the get go. Im not to smart about cars but I want it to last for some time, you guys have any ideas/tips/etc in order for me to have this running for a good 4+ years? I also want to get a new stereo headset, speakers, etc. What would I be looking at price wise for the above standard bump, if you know what I mean.
crutchfield.com - check that out for everything car audio related to keep your car running for awhile, just perform the maintenance required. Change oil, filters, etc when needed. That's all, surprising how easy it is, but some folks are just lazy and ignorant..
I have a 2000 Sable with like.. 130.000 miles.. The only thing you really have to worry about with it maintaining it.. keepin up with oil changes, might wanna do a tune up on it soon.. and regular maintenance bull. Brake light switches are notorious for goin' out in 'em, as well as ball joints and other suspension parts, but that's just about normal for any vehicle. I'm actually workin' on customizing mine now. Gonna get it lowered, do a new paint job.. I"m pushin' 2 10's and 2 12"s now.. they're a helluva car if you take care of 'em!
