Seeds are from Nirvana. Original Glue, Snow White, and Girl Scout Cookies.

    Tent is Vivosun 96x48x80

Equipment: (As labeled in picture below)
    A. Ac infinity cloudline s8 740 Cfm 8”
    B. Vivosun 1000 watt HPS
    C. Roots organics 10 gal bags
    D. Vivosun 8 inch carbon filter
    E. Box fan

    15 plants total

Will be direct sowing into a starter mix I got from DankOHZee years ago. 3 parts jiffy mix 3 parts EWC 2 parts vermiculite. Trying to go completely organic. Is there an organic Ph up down product that can be used to control Ph of water?
Starter lighting will probably be a couple cfls! Thought about a t5 but I’ll just have to see how the budget looks. Then they will be transplanted into 10 gal roots organics bags and moved to the tent for veg and flower.

Does this look like enough ventilation?
Anybody have any better recommendations as far as equipment?
Do propagation mats really make a difference in germination rates?

Any help, tips, criticism, ANYTHING is appreciated !!!!!!!!! Lol I think I’m going through grow anxiety worrying a little to much, but I want to be prepared for this one as much as possible.

And does the ventilation look properly set up ?

  3. I'm not a fan of the carbon filter on the outside, as an exhaust. I like to keep them as an intake filter inside the tent.

The only time I've ever killed a seedling was using a propagation mat and dome. I don't use them anymore.

  4. You could get away with just one inline fan.

    I'd shoot for 4 plants per 4x4.

For germination heat mats are nice.

  5. Yea call me old school but I either germ using paper towel method or direct sow... never even heard of a propagation mat until here recently. So far I’m not convinced

  6. So how many plants would you aim for in this 8x4? 8?

  7. Yes, 8 plants in 10 gallons would fill the tent nicely.

  8. No reason to filter air into tent I have 5 flowering in a 4x4 nicely

  9. Same here.

  10. Yea I had someone else tell me it’s really a useless step since air will be filtered through the first one anyways. I probably will only run one carbon filter... just thought I’d get some other opinions on it first.
