sublime, rage, radiohead, greenday, oasis, primus, janes addiction, blur, bush, temple of the dog, stp, beck, foo fighters, candlebox, soul asylum, counting crows,
wooot b52s ftw. oh, and everything that was metioned above, with emphasis on sublime + grunge. though I don't know acid mother's temple
Jeff Buckley RIP House/DnB/Electronica in general blossomed in the 90s as well A Tribe Called Quest, De La Soul, RIP conscious golden age hip-hop
Sonic Youth, Dinosaur Jr., My Bloody Valentine, Swervedriver, Slowdive I was only about 4 when most of these were in there heyday. It's a shame. A magical time in music. But MBV and Swervedriver are reuniting! and Dinosuar Jr. just did in 2005. (Sonic Youth has always stayed together and Slowdive plays folk music now) Anyone else love the Pete and Pete theme song. That's the epitome of 90s music to me. Hit it up on youtube.

Best 90s song? Yellow Ledbetter by Pearl Jam IMO. And no one has mentioned Alice In Chains?! I <3 their unplugged album.
90s alternative backed HARD. I made a mix (that eventually turned into a compilation) for my dad of sweet sweet 90s songs. It's one of the best mixes I've done (I think), I rock it all the time. I've given it to a few other people, mostly in CD trades, and all I've gotten is positive responses from it.
the offspring, rhcp, blind melon, oasis, R.E.M, everclear, pantera, tonic, collective soul, NIN(to an extent), white zombie, filter, marcy playground, spin doctors, dave mathews band, the presidents, local H; damn, the list will never end, sorry for any repeats
Oh my God scoobydooby, that's really hard to believe that we both came up with that lol. But I guess I'll believe you. Stoners think alike. haha Oh ya, gotta say the Crannberries. A little lame, but I still love it!
I wanna throw out some love for KYUSS and the rest of the Palm Desert Stoner Rock scene. Most underrated music scene of the 90s. Also love grunge, RATM, TOOL, Jane's Addiction, and Stone Temple Pilots. The 90s rocked
