    Hi guys

I'm almost ready to get going with my grow room it was a wardrobe, so I've removed the shelving and lined it with panda film and completely sealed the room using draught excluders and strong cupboard magnets to pull the doors and create a strong seal.

Run down of all my equipment

    • 900W MEIZHI LED (Quite heavy so along with the hooks I'm using a bungee cord hooked to the top of the wardrobe so if it ever pulled the hooks out it wouldn't drop into the pots with the drippers.)
    • Atami Wilma 4 pot dripper Hydroponic kit (I will be drilling holes in the bottom of the pots to allow the roots to enter the reservoir)
    • Carbon filter with 4" inline fan and ducting (to stop those beautiful scents escaping, is venting through a wall vent and a 4" duct coming into the room for the intake)
    • Aquarium fish tank tropical air stone pump (To stop root rot and promote growth when the roots hit the water)
    • 45 litres of clay balls (Will be rinsing in PH neutral water before cultivating)
    • Digital TDS Meter + PH Tester Pen (And some PH + & -, so I can maintain a nice PH, I want to reduce as many factors as possible from stressing the plant)
    • Canna Terra Vega and Terra Flores Hydroponic Nutrients
    • Digital Thermometer and humidity meter
    • Rockwool grow cubes (Soaked in PH neutral just like the clay pebbles)
    • Smoke alarm (gotta be safe! god forbid it ever sets on fire when I'm out at least it will warn housemates to GTFO)
    • 60-75x LED Pocket Microscope (Jewelers loupe, so I can see when the perfect time to begin flushing and harvest, keeping an eye on the cloudy trichomes about to turn amber is key!)
    • Pineapple Express Auto - Barneys Farm
    30% Sativa 70% Indica
    600gr/m2
    100/110cm
    60/65 days from Germination
    THC 14% CBD 1.2~1.4%

I am still waiting on these items to be delivered before I start

    • Aquarium water heater (to maintain water temp between 18~20, prevents slowed growth)
    • A 6" clip fan (create good circulation and strengthen stems)
    • SCROG Net
My next grow I will be setting up a Co2 cylinder with a regulator and pump 1500ppm of Co2 into the grow room on intervals when the fans are turned off (Fans will turn back on when the temperature increases too much) thumbnail_IMG_8875.jpg thumbnail_IMG_8877.jpg

    Day 7,
I've drilled holes in the support tray so the roots will grow into the res with the air stones. I've also put the scrog in with a staple gun, and added 80mm intake ducting so air is drawn up through the plants before exhausting. Also added a 6" clip fan to keep that circulation.

So far three healthy looking plants - despite one seed failing to germ (I have one in the process of germinating now to replace) Nice air flow and stable temps - however sometimes both switches on the Meizhi 900W can increase temps to 31C (87F) So I've been decreasing the power when I'm not around to monitor temps.

I've just added 1/4 strength of nutrients to res, I will increase to 1/2 strength when they're slightly bigger. The PH is sitting nicely at 5.8

    Day 18 (ADVICE REQUIRED)
    ____________

I've made a silly error, so I know that because I have autoflowers I will be keeping the light schedule on for 18/6 for the max yield. However, the new seed I put in is a Blueberry OG (Non auto)

So I've decided I'll switch the light schedule to 12/12 once the auto's are completely finished, I'll have to hand feed nutrients as the roots will be in the res with pure water at the end of the auto's harvest. So a little annoyance, I'll have to be careful not to put too many nutrients in as I don't want to interfere with the flushing of the auto's. But damn I'm going to have a big vegged plant (65 days veg :/)

Two plants look amazing, they're really healthy, no signs or symptoms of anything wrong, However as you can see the 3rd photo one plant looks a little bit scraggly so if anyone has seen this I welcome any support/ advice (It's definitely not powder mildew)

    Possible causes;

    1) I poured 'hard tap water' over the leafs and it left a salty residue (cal?) on them, although it didn't happen with the others

    2) I had two drip feeders in the one pot (due to having the new seedling in the last pot) but it doesn't look like nutrient burn

What are you thoughts guys, as I said before I welcome any feedback, advice or tips

    Thanks
    Tygre

  5. Thanks, I'm excited, never had the stuff before. I'm definitely a hybrid/pure sativa guy though, I prefer the 'adventure mode' high, although I don't mind a couch lock before bed..

  6. Idk man...mine was a wake and bake, not a couch lock. Knocked out a transmission from beginning to end in three hours on some Pineapple Express.
