90 degree VS. 45 degree joint angle

Discussion in 'Marijuana Consumption Q&A' started by chrisiscool11, Dec 21, 2012.

  1. i was looking at some nice ash catchers/pre coolers and was wondering is there any benefit of dishing out the extra cash for the 90 degree style joints?

  2. Not sure I follow... youre gonna want a 45 degree angle so that the ashcatcher is aligned vertically with your tube.

  3. The 90 degree is for stemless pieces where the joint is pointed vertical. The vertical joint on the ash catcher compliments this and keeps the ash catcher vertical.

The 45 one is for pieces where the downstem comes out of the piece at a 45. Again the 45 on the ash catcher compliments this and again keeps the ash catcher vertical.

Buy the piece you need. Theyre not really interchangable.
