what ever is crossed out in blue I did NOT get

What do you think 8oz. on this one plant box, possibly more, possibly less???

  2. Nice setup man but in my opinion 18''x18'' floor space is not enough room to put as many plants it would take to achieve 8oz. And that 150w light is a little small for that yield to. You definately should be able to grow some nice dank just in smaller quanities... Good Luck.

  3. Yeah the box is only made for one plant. So you dont think 8oz is possibly off one plant?

One plant can do it, but u need MAAAD rootspace(8-12 gal, instead of usual 5) and prolly ~ 2 months veg. btw that is one cool tube

EDIT: btw 150w hps is NOT enough for 8oz no matter how many plants. ive seen people pull 8-10oz with 400w so 8oz single plant(sage n sour mad sativa should be easy) with a 400w is completely possible, but not with a 150

  5. good to know thanks for the info, maybe 4oz is a more realistic goal to set.

  6. now you're cookin, but i think you might need some supplemental CFL in there. something like 40-80 watts. and make sure they are soft white(2700k) in flowering. and in veng, you want daylight (6500K)

  7. im just gonna stick with the lighting that I have im sick of tinkering with this box. once I move outta this apartment next year ill be able to set up a room instead of a small grow box. Do you think i should scrog the plant?

  8. yes do a scrog, but any extra light you can put in the danker/denser/more bud you will get. you have a great setup for more than just a 150 watt bulb. if i were you i would put in more lights. i have a 400 watt hps now and i didn't get 8 ounces off of it i did get 6 jars full though.

  9. ^ doesnt sound like you weighed it, so u woulkdnt know for sure . the 400w grows that ive seen getting that kind of weight also use scrog.

  10. Check out my 1st grow and my current grow, links in sig. I am growing hydro, running a 400w HPS (Cooltube now, but not cooltube for my 1st grow). My ten is 32"x32"x63". I grow 2 plants at a time, and I top them once and scrog them.

My 1st grow I harvest 4.75 oz from my White Widow, and 2 oz from my Northern Lights (Early growth problems, never caught up). So almost 7 oz from 2 plants. Plus 3 oz of trimmings and pop corn buds that I use for making cannabutter and hash.

This grow, I am growing a Lemon Skunk and a Vanilla Kush. The LS looks like its going to out yield the WW from my 1st grow, but the VK looks like its going to be a very low yielder, but is healthy and smells very potent. So I may end up with around the same amount as last grow, I am not sure.

Your first couple of grows you will yield less than you will a few years from now, as your lessons and growing pains will affect your yield. But each grow will get better as you learn, and know what to expect, and how to avoid issues. I know this grow is LIGHT YEARS ahead of my summer grow, due to my lessons learned, and the improvements I made.

    Good Luck. Peace.:smoke:
