*** Not sure where to put this thread, help me out mods FYI : I experiment with making hash/oils using the ~iso wash, boil, evaporate, scrape, etc~ method. I'm simply wondering if I'd be able to make this work: buy griddle from target > pour iso-mix directly on top of griddle > turn griddle on > boil/evaporate Keep in mind that griddles are made with metal/iron cooktops! (i'm unable to use the standard boil water with glass plate on top method, and letting the alcohol naturally evaporate isn't seeming to work that well, for me!) -spacenstein
no i would not suggest doing this because when you go to scrape the qwiso, you'll be scraping up metal flacks too. always use glass for this.
Do you have any other ideas on how I would go about doing it? I have an open flame-gas stove, so I wouldn't feel comfortable doing anything around that.
I mean you can just do what I do, which is use the least amount of iso as possible. Then just wait for it to evaporate, if you want results fast use a hair dyer on the hottest setting. Don't leave the hair dryer on the glass for too long because it can get like really damn hot, and if high you can burn yourself haha.
