Hey GC, just wanted to say I´m fine, after 12 hours with no heat or water because of an earthquake in the south. Sea level rose and the ocean came in about four or five blocks in some places, the Juan Fernandez Islands were hit by a tsunami and people are seeking refuge in the hills.

It was pretty intense here, but it was a complete disaster where the epicenter was.

If anyone is from Hawaii or anywhere near the Pacific you should be on watch for big waves since latest news has the French Polynesia has been hit by rising sea level.

    some pics

  2. Damn son that sucks so bad.
    RIP anyone who was lost.

Hawaii is going to get hit with a tsunami next.

  3. So glad to hear you are safe!

I have family and friends in Hawaii, and am hoping for no tsunami!

  4. Glad to hear your alright buddy

Did you feel the quake? or were you far away. What did it feel like if you felt it.

  5. I was like 300 km away and felt a 7.3 quake that lasted around three minutes.

  6. What was it like? Ground shaking and stuff falling off the walls?

  7. Glad you're alright. I am also curious about what it felt like..

  8. I walked around town today, lots of buildings with windows shot out, doors knocked off the hinges, some streets were lifted and stuff.

Ground was shaking like a trampolin, walls were moving like they were made of jello or something.

  9. Your place have any damage?

  10. Wow so sorry to hear that :/ pics are horrible.

  11. No damage to my place, only minor damages in town, but down south is completely upside down. I have friends whose family members are missing and entire parts of citites are destroyed.

According to the US Geological Survey, it was 900 times more intense than the one in Haiti.

  12. Sorry to hear that my condolences go out to them.

  13. Wow that's nutty man, glad you're okay though and hope the same is true for all the missing friends/family members out there. Awful thing to happen, and terrifying even for those of us who live nowhere near the affected areas.

  14. I've never experienced an earthquake before personally, but this one seems quite intense. Glad you are okay.

  15. Glad you are okay. We are expecting the first to hit here in Hawaii in about an hour

  16. That's ridiculous. Que bueno que estas bien. Have you been able to get in contact with family?

  17. That's some serious shit dude... Glad to hear that your alright..

Yeah I have, fortunately my familiy lives in the same city, and most of my relatives live either to the extreme north or south, not really close to the disaster area.

    Thanks for your concern.

I´m getting info that Argentina felt it also and some of it´s cities are possibly as bad as ours are. It was felt was far away as Sao Paulo,Brazil, around 1600 kms away.

  19. Hope it doesn´t hit you guys hard. I found a streaming video of hawaii so I´ll be checking it out and my thoughts will be with you.

  20. Holy shit!
