7 weeks of flowering, WTF is this!!!!!

  1. Hey guys, first time grower here:

So 7 weeks of flowering under 400W HPS in organic soil. FF big bloom and tiger bloom were administered for nutrients. Problems started last week. First thought it was a calcium definciency but no remedies worked. So last Friday I flushed with plain water. They have been watered again this week with pure water pH 7.0 and there has been no improvement. Two plants show this problem while the other two don't. Is there anything I can do at this point or is it a race to see if the buds finish before this gets too bad?

Is it a pH problem? I thought flushing with pure water would solve that problem so I think it is more of a definciency problem or pest problem. Guys any help would be appreciated at this late stage.

  2. Hi Riley

I had same prob, asked the forum and they reckon it was to much nutes & maybe ph to high.

    Hope this helps!

  3. measure the run off from the soil when u water, u want that to be in the 6.4-7.0 range (optimal = 6.5-6.8), seems to be a ph problem

  4. Any other suggestions. I've measured the pH of the water the first time I flushed on Friday the 23rd and it was just under 7. Today I flushed again and the runoff was the same, just under 7. The problem just keeps getting worse so I think its to do with nutrients or bugs but I can't find any bugs, even with the mag glass.

  5. Ph problem locking out specific nutrients to the plant

    set at 6.4ph.

  6. and yes its a calcium deficiency but if you dont correct the ph no method to fix the calcium def will work until you do.

  7. awesome, thank you for the help

  8. ive got the same problem and just balanced the ph to 6.5 any suggestions on how to fix the calcim def.

  9. the balance of ph should fix the deficiency by itself, because the ph locks out the calcium, its still available in the soil..
