7 weeks and no new pistles?

  1. Hey there guys, this is swim's second grow, and swim was wondering why the pistels are allready red at 7 weeks?
They are auto mataro blue from kannabia and swim left them in veg for 5 weeks with little growth and when swim flipped to 12/12 they sexxed 2 days after.
Thoughts? This is the main cola and its about a bic lighter big.
Also, 50% of the fan leaves have died off
ps- thats a high-res image, click it in the big window to see it at full res

Meant to get back at ya sooner, busy though. Familiar with the term swim, just not used to seeing it here.
Red pistils and dying fan leaves seems pretty normal near the end of flowering. 7 weeks might be a bit early for them all to be red but sometimes that's the way it goes. Can you check the trichs?
I couldn't see the pic on my phone. The app is funny that way sometimes.

Edit: just read it was an auto. Should be on 20/4 light schedule for the entire grow. No need to flip lights. This could be why your main cola is so small. There are a few good auto only threads around here. You would do well to look them up.

  5. I think its probably ready, and here's why
The auto flowering strain calls for 12/12, it won't flower unless its in 12/12 (not a true auto imo but w/e)
I left it in veg for 5 weeks, then threw it into flower and it literally sexed in 2 days, I think because of that, it said 8-9 weeks from seed which i forgot about before, so I'm gonna leave it till the morning then chop that sucka down!
also, one of my grow lights went out at week 5 so thats why they are so small

  6. Normal for autos to be "weird" towards the end. Chop when trichs are milky, and kind of amber because some autos never go full amber. Give her the chop after a flush and she will be good.

  7. Thanks Im Kushed
I checked my trichs this morning and they are all milky, maybe one or two amber.
Its a 25% sativa 50% indica 25% what ever the auto strain is haha (forget atm)
I've decided I'm gonna chop this Saturday, always better to wait a little bit longer then the day you want to chop (which was today)
    I'm super excited :)

  8. Nice!

Your plant looks frosty, the pistils look retracted, the bud is coning and pointed on top, I know that that will be a nice smoke.:hello:

  9. What's the dry weight looking like on that op?
