6x1150 watt Gavita under 6 plants with the gavita master controller

Discussion in 'Hydroponic Grow Journals' started by XYGTHO, Feb 27, 2017.

  1. I drop 2 reg seeds in. They are the C99 from the grim brothers i got one male and one female and so i pull the male out. It is not placed in a good place of the room and it is being hand feed. But i think it could be a keeper as the buds are so big for where it is placed

Well I have sent about good 20 hours on this room doing a full fix on these walls. It’s been a huge job I have had to do this every couple of years. It’s just about all done thank god it’s been a pain in the ass. Sorry about the crappie pictures. The huge 12 inch fan was so big a mate give me a stand to rest it on E76773FC-7737-45BC-A78D-C7F24297F78F.jpeg 33B285D2-57FF-4168-9E2A-8FC84DE4839E.jpeg 3C1EA9DA-6C42-49A1-8ED5-0BDBEFAF9C32.jpeg

  8. I gave 1 buddy 2 brand new 1000w Gavitas 2 weeks ago, and hes freaking out how much more the plants responded, and how much more coverage area vs the 1000w Hortilux HPS.

1 friend tried them for 2 days, but doesn't have the ceiling height for big plants. In 2 days they started showing light stress at less than 36 inches, and he can get the 1000w Hortilux 18 inches-2 feet and works better in his situation.

Other buddy I gave them 2, has 10 foot ceilings, and can make full use of them.

But after even 1 week, he was sold that they were better vs any single ended bulb.

I'm thinking of buying him a DE 1000w CMH for veg room as he uses also uses the Hortilux for veg. I get all the product, so whats good for him, is good for me.

They also have to be run at, at least 36 inches or better.

All your plants look nice and healthy.

  9. Thank you my room is only 7 feet in height. So i had to make a few changers to my room to get these lights to work. l had to lower all my pots to get the height down. l uses to run a 30 litres pot on the bottom and a 50 litres on top which was 26 inch tall. Way to tall for 7 feet ceiling so i got around it by putting a 50 litres pot inside a 50 litres pot which got it down 18 inch in height. That give me 42 inch to the top of the netting. For veg all i uses is 400 watts hps i have 3x600 hps that i only run them at 400 watts for the 6 plants.
